PAINTING (MAPS)
My map paintings offer accurate representations of places that don't exist. They map their own subjectivities, or mine, relying on lines, grids and numbers to impart a sense of objectivity while remaining wholly subjective. In other words, they are spectacularly, gloriously? useless as maps. However, they’re utterly, 100% reliable as paintings.
